Q: What is IPT and how will it affect my premiums?

A: IPT stands for Insurance Premium Tax. It is a Government tax on insurance premiums in certain countries in the EU. The IPT level for France is set at 7% and will be added to your premium. The insurers have to then pay this onto the French Government.

Q: If this plan is just for Expats residing in France what happens to my insurance if I leave France and become an expatriate in another country?
